Terms used across DocOpsly and its documentation.
Workspace
The Admin-configured set of rules that governs how documentation behaves and is structured: organisational details, matter conventions, review defaults and renewal schedules.
Admin
The role that owns workspace configuration and can delegate approvals.
Matter
A document or documentation set with an owner, role assignments and dates that may need review or renewal.
Matter conventions
Defaults for owner and role, date formatting and currency formatting applied across matters.
Trigger
An event that starts the update loop: a release, reader feedback, a scheduled reminder or a manual flag.
Source of truth
Your existing, approved documentation — what agents read from and publish back to.
Review period
A standardised interval after which a document is due for review, set in the workspace.
Expiring link
A shared link that stops working after a set time, configured in review defaults.
Renewal reminder
A scheduled prompt generated ahead of a notice or renewal date.
Controlled publish
Publication that occurs only after an update passes human approval.
Citation
A reference in an agent output to the specific page it relied on.
Self-driving docs
The mode in which agents manage documentation work continuously, with humans approving.
