Workspace

Workspace setup as governance

To keep outputs consistent, an Admin configures a workspace that defines how documentation should behave and be structured. It is less "how your team writes docs" and more how the agent-run documentation programme is governed.

What a workspace defines

Configured once by an Admin, then applied to every agent output.

Organisational details

Legal name, registered address, governing law and primary contact. Templates reuse these values so they are consistent everywhere and updated in one place.

Matter conventions

Defaults for owner and role assignment, date formatting and currency formatting. Agents follow them automatically; reviewers never chase inconsistencies.

Review defaults

Standardised review periods for different document types, plus options such as expiring links for material that shouldn't circulate indefinitely.

Renewal reminder schedules

Configured in advance so that notice dates and deadlines generate predictable prompts — for example, reminders a set number of days before a notice or renewal date.

Consistency at scale

Why governance lives here

Agents produce a large volume of consistent work only when the rules are explicit.

Without a workspace, every draft would need a reviewer to check formatting, contact details and legal references by hand. With one, those checks are already satisfied when the draft arrives, and review time is spent on substance — is this accurate, is this aligned with how we operate.

  • One place to change a legal entity name, address or governing law
  • Predictable review cadence across teams and products
  • Deadlines that prompt people before they become problems
  • Templates that always carry the correct organisational details

Admin role

The Admin owns the workspace configuration. They can delegate approvals to reviewers, adjust conventions and review defaults, and set or change renewal schedules. Everyone else works within the rules the Admin sets.
